This make ahead breakfast is perfect for hectic weekday mornings where ever breakfast is being served. In this recipe, I used fresh peaches but any canned fruit would be delicious. You will need (6) 2 cups jars with lids for this recipe.
2 cups oatmeal (non instant)
1 cup milk
1 cup yogurt
1/2 cup fruit
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a mixing bowl, combine the oatmeal, milk, yogurt, fruit and cinnamon. Stir until the mixture is uniform in color. Evenly divide the oatmeal mixture among the six jars. Top with extra fruit and seal. Refrigerate until ready to use. The oatmeal can be transferred to an insulated wide mouth thermos for eating outdoors.
