Rocky Road Brownies are Rocky Road Ice Cream’s cousin! These chewy, brownies hold up very well for school time snacks. I make the brownies the night before school and let the brownies cool to room temperature. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. (This is an extra step but makes for easier cutting.)
Use a plastic picnic knife to cut the brownies into 12 portions. I wrap the brownies tightly in plastic wrap and cushion them with a paper napkin.
1 package Chewy Fudge Premium Brownie Mix
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 (16 oz.) can Creamy Home-Style Milk Chocolate Frosting
Prepare and bake brownies according to package directions.
Mix marshmallows and walnuts with milk chocolate frosting and spread generously on cooled brownies.
