Wow! We started off the launch of Boat Food: The Cookbook for Boaters on a very positive note. The local paper did a terrific job on making me look like I have done this before. Truth be known, this rookie was given a loving guiding hand during the press conference and photo shoot. I requested a shout out to Happy Harbor restaurant where Captain Rick and I keep our boat. The interview took place in their restaurant. And another, of course, to my Captain Rick.
The place was buzzing with the lunch crowd but the seasoned reporter thought nothing of it. I was a little anxious but had done my homework of trying to figure out the questions she would ask. I wrote down the responses. This did help me in the interview. Here is a link to her story.
