Burgers stuffed with Blue Cheese

This should become your go-to recipe for delicious burgers.  You can vary the cheese you.  I like it because it keeps the cheese from falling out of the rill when you first take a bite. Top the burger with your choice of condiments.

Mouthwatering Blue Cheese Burger


  • 4oz blue cheese (crumbled)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2lb ground meat (80/20%)
  • 4 hamburger bulls
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)


in a mixing bowl, combine the blue cheese, mayonnaise, kosher salt and black pepper
Preheat a grill for indirect cooking 500 degree Fahrenheit
divide the hamburger meat into portions. You may need to moisten your hands with water when you are shaping the burgers.
Divide the blue cheese mixture in four portions. Place the blue cheese mixture on 4 hamburgers. Place the other burgers on top of the blue cheese and seal the edges of the hamburgers. You may need to moisten your hands with water to accomplish this
If you are not cooking right away, place the burgers in the refrigerator. Place the burgers over the indirect heat. Cook for 5 minutes and turn the burger over. Do not apply pressure to the burger patties because this will cause the cheese to ooze out. Cook to your preference of medium rare, medium, etc.
Grill the rolls over indirect heat for 1-2 minutes a side. Place the burgers on the bun and enjoy.

Grilled Corn


  • 4 Medium corn (fresh and shucked)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)


cook corn over indirect heat, turning frquently to 19 minutes or until the corn is charred and delicious.
