Vegetable Soup

large soup

The days of spring can be chilly when Mother Nature wants to remind us that she is not quite ready to let us bask in warm sunshine quite yet. For these types of day, I recommend a bowl of hot vegetable soup. This is something that warms the inside of your tummy and heart. Of course, a piece of crusty bread make you feel even better!

Old Fashioned Vegetable Soup

  • 1 can string beans (12 ounce)
  • 5 carrots (sliced thin)
  • 2 cups sweet potatoe (cubed)
  • 1 cup fressh parsley or 1 tablespoon dried
  • 1 can plum tomatoes (14 ounce, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
