Lunchtime Dip It!


This is a continuation of a theme I started, Lunch Box ideas.

Here is a creative way to get your child to eat vegetables.  It is salt free and can be fat-free depending on the cottage cheese used.  Send your child to school with a bag of their favorite vegetables and they are good to go!


Cheese Dip


  • 4 tablespoons cottage cheese
  • 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder


Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Transfer the dip to portion size containers and refrigerate overnight
Serve with carrots, celery or any raw vegetables.
